Actually, if you have Joomla 1.5 (or any version of Joomla, for that matter) and you want to see the module positioning, you can simply add “?tp=1″ to the end of the URL of the page you want to check out.

Yep, you got it, module positions in 1.5 are template specific, to view and change them you need to access the template entry itself. Thanks for the comment!
ah. I found it. To preview a module template, go to template manager, click on the default template and then click preview. An overview of the module placement will appear. Thanks for posting this video clip!
I started with 1.5 and the site menu option doesn’t exist. Do you know of a way I can view my modules positions in 1.5? Its frustrating to use 1.5 when all the available tutorials are of 1.0. Sigh…. lol.
