I’m actually a joomla expert myself. What is your website URL and what exactly are you trying to edit?
well to alter color’s would be done in with the css file. to alter images. dreamweaver is usable but i found it easier to work with a combo of program’s. flash i use for swf,fla file’s photoshop pro i use for some images and dreamweaver for other’s depend’s how and what you wan to edit. some program’s are easier than other’s. heck johnny seem’s like he’s gonna help ya, i’d take his offer up.
Yeah each template has a main css file you can alter that to change colours and so on.
You can,
Site Template > Site Manager > Site Templates
Select your site’s template and click the button ‘Edit HTML’ or ‘Edit CSS’. By the way some free templates do mention not to change certain things.
