Yes, Gulsan. It’s easy to make website in Hindi with Joomla.
After you install Joomla, goto and the download the Hindi Languge pack. The following is the direct link. I hope it works. This is a language pack for version Joomla 1.0.11.
I use Joomla 1.0.13, i installed the above language pack in mine, it worked.
After you download this pack, login to your Joomla site and goto Joomla Administration.
You can see the Lanuge Manager there. Click the language manager. There you can upload the file you just downloaded.. and then you are ready to go. Do not forget the publish the language that you have just installed.
I hope you already know how to install Unicode in your Machine. You need the unicode installed to be able to type. (I hope it supports other formats of Hindi Script as well).
So, to display the content start making them in Hindi. Create the menu names in Hindi and even the contentt. There you go..
